Peter Aalbæk Jensen is one of the most significant Danish film and tv producers. Alongside his creative partner, Lars Von Trier, he's executive produced more than 70 films and tv shows over the course of his career. A controversial figure in the Danish film industry, Peter never shies away from controversy to achieve his creative visions. While this doesn't always render him popular, he's produced some of the most talked about and internationally acclaimed work; Nymphomaniac, Dancer in the Dark and Dogville amongst them, to name but a few.

Alongside Danish directors, Lars Von Trier and Thomas Vinterberg, Peter Aalbæk was behind the Dogme95 Manifesto, that catapulted Danish cinema on to the world stage.
Peter founded the production company, Zentropa, together with director, Lars Von Trier, and has made waves not only artistically, through their critically acclaimed films, but also for their company culture, their infamous parties and Peter’s unconventional management style.
